Dear Parents/Carers,

What a busy few weeks!  We can’t believe that we only have 5 weeks left.  Congratulations to all the children involved in The Pied Piper – what a show!

 

Topic

We will be finding out more about India, and beginning to ask our own questions.

 

Maths

This week we will be investigating decimals through measurements.

 

Literacy

We will be learning the story of Rama and Sita, and writing character descriptions.

 

Homework

This week we have a game where the children can practice their spelling of words ending in -ing and -ed. Feel free to make up your own rules.

 

Trip

On each Wednesday for the next 3 weeks, there will be a trip to the airport as part of our Local Area and India topics:

Miss Strange – 20th June

Mrs Le Prevost – 27th June

Miss Simpson – 4th July

 

We will need one parent helper per class, so please let your child’s teacher know if you can help.

Sponsored Swim: Monday 25th-Friday 29th.

This will take place in your child’s usual swimming lesson. If you are available to help count lengths please speak to your child’s teacher.
